Can the schedules run with software closed?

If I close the software will the schedule be able to run. Can the software start the services on startup so it will run the jobs.Tech Support
1) If you close the user interface, the engine still runs tasks in the background.2) However, if you logoff, the engine shuts down unless it is started as a service.
3) If you want tasks to run after logoff and before logon (i.e. on system startup) you should start engine as a service.
4) To get started, use the Engine Menu / service menu / service help file.
