Delete files when directory reaches certain size

I am wondering how can I utilize the Directory Monitor feature to delete old files when the size of the directory reaches a certain size?

Tech Support
You have to use a File Monitor task and a delete task as follows:
1) File Monitor task settings:
Filename =               (leave blank)
Task to run = delete_task
Only Select the following option: Run task if total file size in directory is greater than X bytes

2) Delete task settings:
task title = delete_task
Filename =                 (leave blank)
Select option to delete files older than Y days
