These the the four possible causes of above error:1) Is the public key trust level listed as Ultimate? In the key store tab, look at the Trust Column. If trust is not ultimate, set trust level at ultimate ( 5 ). Right click on the key in the keystore. Select ‘edit Trust’ from the ensuing popup menu . Follow instructions.
2) In the encryption profile, for the recipient ID, instead of John Doe <doej@test.com> , enter the keyID listed in the keystore. It is case sensitive.
3) Was a different account used to import key, than the account that is running the task?
4) Are you using windows Service? and engine account is different than account that imported the key into user interface?
