Check Email task does not download attachment
User Support Request
A .zip file attachment from our client is not being downloaded with the Check Email task. I have the same email sent to me from the client and I forward it to the email address the Check Email task is monitoring and the attachment is indentified and downloaded. I’ve also sent the email from my personal email account and the attachment is downloaded. I've verified that the attachment is on the email server with our IT group.Tech Support
The error indicates that the mail folder cannot be accessed (D:\projects\logs)Feb 4, 2014 12:45:29 PM java.io.IOException: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect
1) Check that the path entered is correct (case sensitive)
2) If you are using Service to start the engine, use UNC format instead of D:\... even if it is a local drive.
i.e. share the ‘logs’ folder as ‘logs’ and use:
\\servername\logs
or share the ‘projects’ folder as ‘projects’ and use:
\\servername\projects\logs
