Task Synchronization

All tasks are multithreaded. Each individual task can be synchronized, to prevent or allow overlapping schedules. If you do not set a profile for the task title, the default behavior is to NOT allow overlapping schedules.

Profiles
You can set multiple synchronization profiles, with different synchronization options. For Ftp tasks, you can choose to allow a single overlapping instance. At the same time, for email tasks, you can disallow overlapping instances.

Task List
Enter task titles separated by commas. To specify all the tasks, use: All_Tasks

Options
The following synchronization options are supported:
1) Allow overlapping schedules - multiple instances of the same task title can run simultaneously.
2) No overlapping schedules, no instances wait - no instances will wait, if a previous instance of the same task is running.
3) No overlapping schedules, single instance waits - only a single instance will wait, if a previous instance of the same task is running.

Wait time
If a single instance waits, you can set the maximum wait time to wait for the previously running instance to finish running.

After Wait time
If the wait time is exceeded and the previous instance has not finished, you can choose to run the task or abort the task.
